Dillinger Escape Plan | “Parasitic Twins” (Official Music Video)

The new clip for this very Nine Inch Nails-sounding track from Option Paralysis features a video that, in my opinions, symbolized the uneven relationship between the designers of band merchandise and the factory workers who are paid minimal wages in order to create it. The factory worker is an old lady who is often ignored, but she keeps hoping for the love and approval of the guy she works for, the lauded young lad who designs DEP’s merchandise. The Dillinger boys themselves only appear in photographs, as a symbol of what keeps this worker/designer dynamic in play.
